California nursing school prerequisites planner
Tick the prerequisite courses (prereqs) you’ve finished to see which California RN programs list them all, which are one or two courses short (and which ones), and which don’t publish a list. Each program shows the school’s own course names and timing rules, with a link to the page we used and the date we checked it.
- Find your programs. Type a school or city in the search box, or leave it blank to see every program. Pick ADN, BSN or ELM to narrow the list.
- Tick your prereqs. Check each prerequisite course you’ve finished. If a school lists anatomy and physiology together, they still count as two courses.
- Choose the timing. “Before I apply” leaves out courses a school lets you finish after applying; “Before the program starts” counts everything.
- Save and check the source. Copy the link to save your list. Every program links to the school page or document we used, with the date we checked it.
Matching uses SEAPHE’s course categories. A tick means you’ve completed a course in that category; each school decides which courses count as equivalent. This is a course checklist, not a prediction of admission.
