Advertising and affiliate disclosure

How SEAPHE plans to pay for itself, and the rules that keep money away from our data and our recommendations.

Right now: no affiliate links, no ads, no sponsored content.

As of Oct 7, 2026, SEAPHE has no affiliate links, display advertising, sponsored posts or paid placements anywhere on the site. No school, test-prep company or other business has paid us or given us anything for coverage.

How we may earn money in the future

Keeping the data current takes real work, so we expect to add revenue later. The likely sources are:

  • Affiliate links, mainly to exam prep for the NCLEX-RN, ATI TEAS and HESI A2. If you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
  • Display advertising from an ad network.
  • School-matching or lead-generation partners that connect readers with programs that want to hear from them.

We’ll update this page before any of these goes live.

How paid content will be labeled

Affiliate links

Pages with affiliate links will carry a short note near the top saying so, linking back to this page. Individual links or buttons will be marked “Affiliate link”.

Ads

Ads will be labeled “Advertisement” and kept visually separate from editorial content and data tables.

Sponsored or partner placements

Any placement a company pays for will be labeled “Sponsored” or “Partner” right where it appears. It will never be mixed into rankings or sorted results.

Data tables and rankings

Pass rates, acceptance rates, accreditation and costs will never contain paid placements. Sorting and filters reflect only the public data.

Editorial independence

  • Data comes first. Figures come from public sources such as the California Board of Registered Nursing, and we don’t change them for anyone. See our methodology.
  • No pay-to-rank. Schools can’t pay to appear, to rank higher or to have unfavorable data removed.
  • Recommendations aren’t for sale. We recommend a product or service only if our editorial team would recommend it without a commission. Whether an affiliate program exists doesn’t affect what we cover or how.
  • Advertisers don’t see content in advance and have no say in what we publish.
  • Mistakes get fixed in public. See our corrections policy.

SEAPHE is an independent publication. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the California BRN, NCSBN, ATI, Elsevier/HESI, ACEN, CCNE, NLN/CNEA or any school listed.
