Our integrity rule
Money never changes what SEAPHE publishes. This rule applies to every page, every dataset and everyone who pays us.
The rule: payment never changes our data, our wording, the order of any list or table, or our warnings.
As of Oct 12, 2026, no one pays SEAPHE. We’re publishing this rule now, before any money comes in, so it’s on the record first.
What payment can’t change
- Data. Pass rates, tester counts, requirements, deadlines, costs and every other figure come from public sources and our labeled calculations. No one can pay to add, remove, round or delay a figure.
- Wording. No one who pays us reviews, edits or approves what we write about them, before or after it’s published.
- Order. Lists, tables, sorting and filters follow the public data and the rule stated with each list. Payment doesn’t move anyone up, down, in or out.
- Warnings. Notes about small cohorts, low pass rates, missing data, closures or BRN actions stay visible whether or not a program or company has a relationship with us.
Payers are disclosed
If anyone pays SEAPHE, through an affiliate program, advertising or anything else, we’ll name the type of payer on our affiliate and sponsorship disclosure, and the page where the payment appears will say so. What we will and won’t take money for is listed there.
The same corrections process for everyone
A school, a company, a reader and anyone who pays us all use the same corrections process. We change a figure only when a public source shows it’s wrong, and we log the correction in public. Paying us doesn’t speed up, slow down or change a correction.
